Get this in HK

The news is about Louvre gallery's new collection Fendi Casa. There is a wired candelabrum in the middle and this is what I look for quite a long time. Very attractive ar. I surely would get one if there is a smaller one..haha

Earthquake

It sounds too far to be scare and unrelated to HK people. But it does affect everyone somehow. No people was killed or injure in here but it took only a few second, the blind spot telecom infrastructure was totally unveiled. The days of no MSN/internet (not exactly, but just too slow) is a good experience to pick my life out of the busy internet connection. We can do nothing under the mighty will of nature.

黃槿 Sea Hibiscus

Ha, I am looking for a small tree for quite a long time. The one in the magazine is the one which I think has the best form to fit my home. Recently, I was told that it is Sea Hibiscus and also very common in HK. And it is tough to wind, salt, dry, and grows big yellow flowers. I'll post more photo once I get a small branch.

kasthall carpet

Recently, I read the introduction of Kasthall carpet in HK magazine. The first time I saw was a kasthall MOSS carpet, it was hanging on the wall with spot light figuring out the long wool of different olive tone. The selection of color and quality is the top grade. Well, if you look at the unit price, it'll tell you how "good quality" it is. I think I may buy a small piece if I have big bonus this year end. <Kasthall>

hulger handset for mobile and VoIP

A good quality (also very expensive) handset for both mobile handsfree and Skype connection. Good quality means quality in voice, weight and ease of using. I shall use it more frequently at home or at work outside HK.

Yummi pottery

I found these pots ocassionally in glazing some old magazines. They come with different sizes and colors (all in earth tone). The wooden lid is a good choice with the earthenware container. It is a good idea to serve as a candy bowl in Lunar new year. <when objects work>

New picture frame

This classic picture frame is made of resin plastic but it is very heavy. So I put it leaning on the wall as shown. The contrast of the shodow is even more emphasized under the halogen lighting. Totally match to glasses and vases, plus a good balance to my minimal style cabinet.

cotton-padded mattress

A "marble" like golden fish pattern available in G.O.D.. Also come with pillow cover. It matches the theme of my home.

Pantry Magic

There is a new shop selling cookery goods in CWB. There are many attractive but useful tools and a small corner showing how to keep the tools in a handy way. I may buy a stone mortar next time

Days in Saudi

Here are some photos of my trip in KSA.

The bread besides me are just baked and taste great!!!

I am not used to eat with bare hands. My fingers were burnt with these hot foods.

A very special interior......I was watching MU vs Chelsea

When east meets west

After a week struggling, I put this bronze bird sculpture on a tissue box which is originally a modern bird house. I guess this bird would love to stay here rather than put it on any other place.

balloon lamp

My sister bought me this Balloon Lamp. The lamp is illuminated by a white LED, similar idea as inflate. Actually, it is not that bright to act as a lamp. but what can I expect from a single LED? <Realm Dekor>

My birthday cake

I got this cake in my BBQ Birthday Party.. actually it is just a normal BBQ event in my company.
but my friends bought this cake for celerbration. And I put the sausage inside as a candle, good meaning hehe.

stream planter

Really donno how powerful it is. But the web said it uses hydroponic technique to cultivate the plant so the plant inside can survive in adverse condition and grow fast. One good point is there is a water chamber and you don't need to feed it frequently. Well, but I think there is anyother way round to deal with it. <greenfortune> Ah. this web also demonstrates it's work on keeping plant on a wall. Good reference.

I brought concrete from Taiwan

A very fruitful journey!!, It was planned to visit some museums in Taipei, Taichung, or Juming gallery. But there is an extra bonus- There was a small market place outside eslite booktore, selling creative goods all made by Taiwan Teens. And there is a large society called campo that brings them together- a new culture of living art. damn cool! The first tiny small planter below is made by one of the unit <0416x1024>. Waiting to visit Taiwan again

Another concrete item was imported from japan<pull+push> which I want to order long time before.

4 in 1

I like the words "Different from others and want to be special", but somehow it seems a bit contradict when everyone is different from others, what's so special. When people are discussing MP3, ipod, something flashes in my mind which recalls my wish of having a portable cassette player: a very simple, mono audio, mechanical cassette player with radio. However, it is hard to get a new one now. Instead, here is a subsitution which catch my attention. This sanyo music system can play CD, radio, cassette and SD card. Seems the manufacturer does not forget the consumer group like me. <sanyo>

amimal farm

I remember Lane Crawford carried ibride products before. If it has this series of shelves available, I may want to get one beagle or bambi. <ibride>

water lily

That's a coffee table formed by small pieces of water lily. Good match to my wall decal below

Cuckoo Clock

This is one of the best redesign cuckoo clock retaining the character of a classic cuckoo. And I think it is a good idea to paint your own pattern to create an unique one. <moma> <SCP><mocoloco>

wood craft picture frame

Baroque crafted wooden frame and... a deer. So good. <ID Chicago>

reform classic frame

This frame is called "my brother's frame". This big brother size 24"X 19"and weight 16lbs. Too big for me but it is really pretty.

With the smell of new furniture diminishing, I am planned to put more plants. But still, I have not decided what to put in the concrete planter.

an Ikea bed side cabinet

This is my latest project: SOW is to renew it with new color, polish it and put pattern on it. I have just painted it in deep violet. Will keep posting the new photos
