Valentine's Meat Juice

My father came to me and asked if I could buy this online. I remember it was the tasty beef juice and it was also my fovorite when I was still an infant. I got this picture from a forum discussing anitque bottle. This bottle has a history over 100 years. Just wondering if someone know where to buy it now or this brand is already an history too

Hello - my husband dug one of these bottles up last week - it looks great. Asked my gran who is 95 about it and did a wee bit of research on it.These bottles were made around 1870. This was used to help recover sick tummys. 1 teaspoon full heated and taken an hour before food it was to help your digestive system. Also 2 raw eggs beaten up with sweet milk as we know now as egg nog a teasoon of this meat juice put into it taken 3 times a day for few days helped build you up again when sick. It changed in the 1930s as beef tea. Meat then had no injections etc so it was safe to take -- you got piece raw meat added boiling water and a pinch of salt and let it just infuse then drink it. Now a days we know it as bovril. At min one of these bottles on e-bay 3.99--- Hope this has been some help.
