Some idea for living room

I made some drawings with some new items in the living room: tree and side table. I have no idea what I should put here. Once I thought I can hang a cloth on the wall. But now my mind has changed ~_~!

plastic cup

I bought a ceramic "plactic" cup last week in Homeless. Today I find there is a Glass "plastic" cup in DesignSponge. The cup is available in Thorsten van elten.

Real folding chair

This is crazy. Just wondering why there is no such design before. A two faces chair (2F) built on a laminate plywood, totally flat when folded and it can be unfolded forward and backward (2 colors?). It said it will be available in this year via Martela. Cool!! <Metropolis>

looking for a long rug

A 2m rug that can put along the window so that I can lean close to the window while I am sleeping. This one looks good <pappelina>. But seems the link does not work <designsponge>

New adventure

This is my first visit to "new" Homeless showroom - actually it has opened for some time. It shows more varity kinds of items and it is a big treasure to me. The surroundings are also new to me. It is a clam place with many delicate shops and cafes.

Valentine's Meat Juice

My father came to me and asked if I could buy this online. I remember it was the tasty beef juice and it was also my fovorite when I was still an infant. I got this picture from a forum discussing anitque bottle. This bottle has a history over 100 years. Just wondering if someone know where to buy it now or this brand is already an history too

Ping Pong Clock

This clock is full of humor and wish I have spare money to get one. This clock makes use of the famous ping pong game and shows the time as the score. The right player wins every minute while the left player wins every hour. The game reset during every mid-night. Cool! Christmas features

Dun want to spend much time and money on a Christmas tree...you know keeping a Christmas is too luxury for a small house, I need to find space to house it. Seems I can use this Vitra algue on several occasion. This time, I have a algue Christmas tree and a wall deco. For lunar new year, I'll put red paper on the wall and so on.

Christmas Dinner

I made the Christmas dinner this year. It was a really exhausted job and I learnt a lot about how to handle many dishes at a time. The taste was ...well , not too bad. Trying to get better next time.

Christmas special

This is a long holiday starting from Christmas eve to 2006 new year, thought I have to get back to office some times this week. We decorated our tiny house with limiting resources and the outcome is amazing. Photos of our home and homemade X'max dinner will be posted very soon. hehe

Tord again

This new product is called Thinking of You: forever, now & here. I don't find any relation between this theme and the vase. But the product itself is gorgeous. Remark: The vase itself has to work with a smaller bottle which place inside the vase to hold the flower. You can use different color bottle to make your own style. An interaction between the designer and the user.

I love trees

I read a japanese magazine that use this baby tree for interior. That is fantastic since it is light and shape like an umbrella. I think I would take it instead of rubber tree. But I dunno its name, that's the problem. Can anyone tell?

wired chandelier

Seems no one can tell which manufacturer makes this lamp. This is not a 3D rendering model. But it does similar to 3D rendering and build by white wire mat. The magazine <Perspective> claimed that it is from "Living". But it did not follow up my query when I sent my request for company information. I am thinking of building a candelabrum myself

What's new to muji

It is close to X'mas so I go shopping all all the time. Muji does have a lot of new goods for season greetings. I saw the new rugs of traditional muji style & color, that's perfect for matching. Besides, here are some new items that worth to have a look:

A CD player in dark color. That's a very famous timeless design. But seems the previous white color os better. One of the reason that I do not buy it, is becos it is too simple, no radio, no display....I think muji should modify it at least putting a display on top of the player.




















The second one is loud speakers. It is belong to the same series of CD player but the size fits for A4 file. Those do not have a laptop computer can think about it.

india rubber tree (Ficus elastica)

I went to Prince Edward today looking for a small tree fit to my home. This is is not very spectacular but it seems fit to my requirement: single tree trunk, big leaves, no ugly flowers. But it seems too short, too green (even the new leaf) and it is ficus (it grows very fast). Anyway the shape is very good so I think I will buy it if it is still available on Saturday and the price is negotiable.

My concrete planter

Ho yeah!!! My planter is finally done!! This unique and raw planter is made by my friend, he made almost everything I can think of and without any deviation from my idea. Good job!! Actually, I do think no one will like putting concrete in his home except me. But seems it does match to my wooden furniture which also mixing the regular and irregular elements

A small exibition in Aoyama

I remember I went to Ayoma last month for Plusminuszero and there was a small building block with a huge ad. at the wall on the pavement side. This is a exibition hall that shows a lot of funny stuff. I say funny because it revolves the tint of living. A relaxing place.

Picture frame planter

That's exactly what I want to get to my "balcony" I think it is not in production yet, but the green and white mixture give a clean and fresh impression. Anyone who like plants should think of getting this planter..... at least one. The manufacturer is also Metaphys, it has a online shop but still under construction. I'll try to purchase when it is ready. <mocoloco>

What a candle

Actually I have no idea how it works. Seems it is a rechargeable lighting and toggle by a magnetic "match". Am I correct? Those who have bought it, please tel me how it works. It is available in hhstyle

LED lighting

It is very unusual, isn't it? Philips makes the LED becoming popular in home applicants, remember the ambient lights of its TV series. Here, the lighting comes with different colors and different shapes as well.

Lumen Tree

This is a oil lamp that projects a shadow of a metal tree on the wall. I am wondering if the shadow can be as clear as shown in the picture. It cost about $45US and it is a special gift for Christmas. Available in AdamFrank. <mocoloco>
